THE IDEA

SEEK, a NYC-based experience discovery app, was looking to 5x their username and double their retention (MAUs). I led all marketing efforts and was tasked with hitting these growth goals.

The work

I managed the entire marketing budget and allocated resourcing across all of our growth, retention, and brand channels. Paid social was a big driver of growth and was our primary lever for new user acquisition. We ran several campaigns per quarter, and following are a couple of creative winners that we saw through testing. In terms of increasing customer retention, we focused heavily on product marketing, and leveraged email, push notification, in-app messaging, and SMS to connect with our customers. We also held community events to engage both our users and creators as well.
